Billy Mitchell to world- “Arcades are not places to have fun!”

Billy Mitchell, once hi score holder for Donkey Kong and evil arch villan on the movie “King of Kong,” has opened a “King of Kong Arcade” despite claims that he has never seen the film. Judging by the fact that he put it in the Orlando Airport and that it is a festering pile of present day arcade sadness, I’m not surprised. Take a look.

Anyone else feeling nostalgic with a Tron sequel around the corner? Not yet? Then you must need a total throwback video from Daft Punk. NO SPOILERS. GUARANTEED.

More impressive than the idea of a two-player Canabalt 2* is the platform this video unveils- the Winnitron 1000, a revamped arcade machine with a mission to spread the glory of indy gaming.

My only concern is that people as far away from Winnipeg as myself will never get to use the Winnitron 1000. I pray to mighty indy game developers out there that other Winnitron 1000-like machines are built and that everyone can enjoy playing games like this once again.
